TERMS OF TRADING

Carriage:

UK Mainland (excluding Highlands and Islands):
Minimum carriage paid order is £500.00 excl VAT. Orders below this amount will incur a £10.00 charge.

Northern Ireland (including Highlands and Islands):
Minimum carriage paid order is £500.00 excl VAT. Orders below this amount will incur a £30.00 charge.

Eire and Channel Islands:
All orders will incur a carriage charge

Payment:

Payment to be made 30 days from date of invoice. Any other payment terms must agreed in writing by Wesco.

Late Payment:

Interest on overdue accounts will accrue at the rate of 2.5% per month. We will exercise our right to claim this and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to the agreed credit terms.

New Customers:

We reserve the right to process first orders on a pro-forma basis at our discretion. New customers are asked to furnish us with the names and addresses of three well-established trade references (not cash and carry) and that of their Bankers. We will monitor and record information relating to your trade performance and such records will be made available to credit reference agencies who will share that information with other businesses to assess applications for credit. We may also make enquires about the principal directors. We may also wish to make a search with a credit reference agency and your signature on our New Account Application Form confirms your consent to this.

Prices quoted are subject to change without notice.

Title:

The risk in goods passes to the buyer upon delivery but title in the goods remains vested in Wesco and shall only pass from Wesco to the buyer upon full payment being made by the buyer of all sums due.

Damages/Shortages:

Goods received should be checked as soon as possible. Any shortages, errors or damages to be notified to Wesco within 7 days of delivery.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

Payment: Payment for export orders is required in full before goods are despatched.

Carriage: The customer must pay ALL carriage charges from Knutsford.
